task one
similarities: the purpose of  the presentations is  teaching. the purpose and conclusion are clear.
difference:  the first speaker wrote points on the board and spoke slowly and clearly. The speech was formal. There were many details in the speech.
the second presenter face to a group audiences.  He interacted with audiences successfully.   He didn't use any visual aid. He spoke a long time for illustrating one point. His gestures are varies.

The two presentations are totally different style. Both of them are good for me. I can get some  information from the first person. But I prefer the second one: He is very humor. He asked questions and know how to grab audiences attention. He teach us how to bring life into a speech by his speech. I think the audiences will  never forget "tell a story, make a point."

Abigail: But, if they find a ……violation………., we’ll get a chance to fix the problem. They won’t shut us down without giving us a chance …to   comply…………… with their ……safety  standards………………………...

I have a friend who changed my perspective of friendship. Her name is Fang, and she is a nurse. The first time I met her was at a dinner. That night she sat beside me and served the tea for everyone frequently. Whole night she talked to everyone. That made me think she was diplomatic and a little bit ostensible.
I was educated by my father that the friendship should be like water and not apparent. Gradually, I found she was really a considering person and she cared of every person beside her. The reason she did something for friends and gave something to others was because she payed attention about them, by contrast, the reason I would not show my love was because I didn't care. I was not a selfish person at all. What I needed to improve was showing myself. As you see, I am a outgoing and popular person now.

My present house and previous house are different.
First of all, the materials are different. The previous one is made of brick and concrete and rooms are divided by brick. In contrast, the house here, only the foundation base is made of concrete. the upper part is made of wood.
Secondly, the sizes of rooms are different. The house in China was big and every room are spacious. Comparing with that, the house in Toronto is smaller and rooms are narrow.
But I love my present house because this is the only house I spent lots of time and passion to decorate it. Every thing in the house was chosen by myself. It is a warm and sweet house. It is my house.
