Lon: What’s this?

Abigail: It’s a memo……… about a ……safety inspection………….. scheduled for next week.

Lon: A safety inspection? How are we ever going to pass a safety inspection?

Abigail: What do you mean? This isn’t an …unsafe …………… workplace. We’ve had a good record. None of our employees have had …on the job…………….. injuries this year and we’ve never had a …fatality…………... I don’t understand why you’re so worried.

Lon: From what I’ve heard, the inspectors don’t just look at injury rates. They look for the smallest …hazard…………… that may be …remotely dangerous………………. If we get cited, we may be …shut down…………………...

Abigail: …With all do respect……………………., I don’t think that’s how it works. Yes, the inspector will look at our work environment and our …gear………… and machinery to make sure there are no hazards or …toxic……… substances.

Lon: That’s what I’m worried about.

Abigail: But, if they find a ……violation………., we’ll get a chance to fix the problem. They won’t shut us down without giving us a chance …to   comply…………… with their ……safety  standards………………………...

Lon: I sure hope you’re right.

Abigail: Me, too. We’ll know after next week’s inspection.

I have a friend who changed my perspective of friendship. Her name is Fang, and she is a nurse. The first time I met her was at a dinner. That night she sat beside me and served the tea for everyone frequently. Whole night she talked to everyone. That made me think she was diplomatic and a little bit ostensible.
I was educated by my father that the friendship should be like water and not apparent. Gradually, I found she was really a considering person and she cared of every person beside her. The reason she did something for friends and gave something to others was because she payed attention about them, by contrast, the reason I would not show my love was because I didn't care. I was not a selfish person at all. What I needed to improve was showing myself. As you see, I am a outgoing and popular person now.

My present house and previous house are different.
First of all, the materials are different. The previous one is made of brick and concrete and rooms are divided by brick. In contrast, the house here, only the foundation base is made of concrete. the upper part is made of wood.
Secondly, the sizes of rooms are different. The house in China was big and every room are spacious. Comparing with that, the house in Toronto is smaller and rooms are narrow.
But I love my present house because this is the only house I spent lots of time and passion to decorate it. Every thing in the house was chosen by myself. It is a warm and sweet house. It is my house.

summary:
I was asked to take a psychometric test before a job interview. I deliberately got there early in order to calm down.
Keeping to a limit time, I had to quickly make choice. After a week, I got a rejection letter from the company. The analysis didn't apply to me at all and it showed a totally opposite portrait of me. I sent a polite disagreement to the company and I enquired to a occupational psychologist about the peculiar and inaccurate result. She said the test was inadequate tool that the company should try to get out of it. Then I took another psychometric test. This test's
profile was more detailed and accurate. It showed the typical of me. I think it is important to have a face-to- face discussions of test result with job candidates.

According to this article, I think a adequate psychometric test can really help companies to choose potential employees. The company should better consult a professional psychologist about the test and check the inaccuracy of the test before.
